OVERVIEW

       Proudly presented by Enhance Technology, the EnhanceBox X4 Multi-lane system is a PCI HBA dependent portable desktop storage system that wraps four (4) high capacity SATA disks in one enclosure, while connecting to the host system via one Infiniband 4X external cable. After connecting to the host controller, the X4 system can be configured as RAID 1, RAID 0, RAID 1+0, RAID 1+S, RAID 5 or as 4 individual drives (JBOD), and deliver an outstanding 200MB/s sustained throughput.
 
       The EnhanceRAID system was built on the world-known hybrid I/O technology, the SATALink™, a iSCSI-to-SATA converging technology pioneered by Enhance Technology to bring low-cost SATA disks to the broadband high performance computing environments. The SATALink™ hybrid I/O technology has enabled Enhance Technology to offer more cost/effective storage solutions to the storage industry.

The Cable
 
          The optional external cable for the EnhanceBox X4 ML (Multi-lane) system is a 1 meter Infiniband 4X cable deploy the latest Multi-lane connector with latch type of connector providing more secured cable connection, improved durability, increased EMI protection and up to 2 meters cable length. (Note: There are two type of Multi-lane connectors: Latch type and Thumbscrew type. Please verify with your HBA vender to ensure matching type of connector on the HBA.)
