AIC’s Xtore XN 200 Series, powered by Microsoft® Windows® Storage Server 2003 R2, provides a total solution customers’ storage needs – Simple management, data security, high availability, and rapid backup and restoration. With four hot-swappable hard drives support, XN 200 can provide 4TB capacities in this small footprint tower design. XN 200 also can be configured with 3rd party iSCSI target storage.
This server is designed to meet today’s storage requirement for small and medium businesses. This unique enclosure allows documents to be shared internally and externally in a more convenient, faster, and secure manner between customers and suppliers. It is an ideal solution for small and medium businesses as well as departments within a corporation.
Through Microsoft’s MMC interface, Xtore XN 200 server can be setup
within 20 minutes. It has more advanced features than traditional file
servers. Multiple file servers can be consolidated as a whole to minimize
client license fees.
With powerful Windows ® Server 2003 Kernel, third party backup
software can be seamlessly integrated into the server.
Backup and restoration tasks become easier and faster by using Volume
Snapshot Service to endorse from shadow copies. This will minimize cost
per unit as well.

This board supports embedded RAID 0, 1, 5 gives users the option to protect valuable data on the fly. Temperature and critical components are continuously monitored. In case of any event failure, server will automatically trigger the alarm and send email notification as well as log enent to users. With heterogeneous platform support, data can be shared among Windows®, Unix/Linux®, Macintosh®, and Netware®, clients with multilingual support. Multiple file servers can be consolidated to reduce system complexity. Consequently, support costs can be significantly reduced. Data is secured by integrated with Windows Active Directory® service. No network change is necessary as the server is deployed.
